Happy Thanksgiving

We stayed in Greenville for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time celebrating with friends!

We started the day with a trip to Starbucks and Falls Park. Ryan was having withdrawals from not being able to duck hunt so we went to look at the ducks there! And attempted a picture of two humans and two dogs. We didn't quite get it but we had fun trying!

It was so nice to have Ryan home for a day. He is working on Christmas (sad!) so we made the most of Thanksgiving!

Our friends Jennie and Craig came over for dinner and we had a feast: smoked turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and rolls. Followed by raspberry sour cream pie and chocolate chip bundt cake. I am so thankful for the new friends we have made since moving here and are going through this crazy residency journey as well!

The cooks! I can't take credit for the turkey - our neighbor, Don, smoked it for us the day before. I will take credit for heating it up!

Our feast was followed by a game of Qwirkle - basically Scrabble with shapes and colors instead of words. Craig won but I came in a close second! Maggie and Richard joined us later but we didn't take any pictures!
