We had a great time on Saturday exploring Lake Jocassee and Devils Fork State Park. The beautiful lake is located right where South Carolina meets Georgia and North Carolina. Known for its crystal-clear water, Lake Jocassee is a popular place to scuba dive. We'd heard that the waterfalls were only accessible by boat. Turns out really only accessible by motor boat - after a few hours we realized we would not be getting to them in a canoe. Oh well, we had fun trying!
Look how clear the water is in this picture! It was amazing to look down and be able to see the bottom of the lake. During lunch I mentioned to Ryan how I'd love to see a bear. Well on the way back home, one ran right in front of our car!
